RTG Academy is a mentor-based goalkeeping-focused training academy. As a leading provider of goalkeeper camps and programs in Austin and the surrounding areas, we aim to help athletes improve their skills in various ways. The coaching staff strives to motivate and inspire goalkeepers to be great people both on and off the field, as our soccer academy believes in evolving players as people, not just athletes.
RTG has hand-picked coaches that believe in the RTG Way which involves motivation and growth through mentorship and knowledge, along with strong expertise in the goalkeeper position. All sessions begin with opening words, warm-ups, and a review of the fundamentals. RTG truly believes that real growth of a player comes from having a strong hold & mastery of the basics. After fundamentals, the session will move on to the main focus of the session and the lesson plan. All RTG sessions will be planned and organized by owner Ryan Thompson and coaches will execute the training. All sessions conclude with positives, areas of growth, and uplifting words to each other.
